I wish Mwave would carry this cpu. I had thought about getting a pre-assembled combo from Mwave but for some reason they won't carry the cpu I want.

The E6300 was quickly outdated by Intel's release of the E7400.
It's essentualy the same cpu but with the vertualization enhancements for running windows 7 in XP mode. A big plus, also same price point.
And at $116.99 thats pretty cheap!

The E6300 has VT also and it's over $30 cheaper so I wouldn't really call them in the same price point.

VT is the virtualization technologies and $30 +/- is not much off,, All depends on where and when your looking at the price from.
